School academic system import

The most common method: choose your school, sign in to the academic system, preview, and save.

Updated September 17, 2026

If your school is supported, this is the fastest method. The whole process happens in the app's built-in browser, and your credentials are submitted only to your school's academic system.

  1. 1

    Open the import page

Open the Timetable page, tap the "+" in the top right, and choose "School academic system import".

    Choose "School academic system import"
  2. 2

Search for and choose your school

Type your school's name and pick it from the results. If you can't find it, your school isn't supported yet — use URL import instead.

    Search by school name
  3. 3

Sign in to the academic system in the web page

The app opens your school's academic system page. Sign in with your student ID and password as usual. StarSchedule does not save your academic password.

    Sign-in happens in the app's built-in browser
  4. 4

    Wait for automatic recognition

After you sign in, the app fetches your timetable and recognizes the courses automatically. Stay on this page and don't exit.

Recognition usually takes just a few seconds
  5. 5

    Preview and save

When recognition finishes, a course preview appears. Check the course names, teachers, rooms, and times, then choose "Create new timetable" or "Overwrite current timetable".

Check each course on the preview page

Create new timetable vs overwrite current timetable

"Create new timetable" keeps your existing timetable, which suits a new term or several terms side by side. "Overwrite current timetable" replaces the current timetable's contents, which suits fixing a mistaken import.

Why can't I find my school?
If your school isn't on the supported list, use "URL import" instead. We keep adding schools, so feel free to tell us about yours through support.
Will you save my academic system password?
No. Sign-in happens only in the app's built-in browser, and your password is submitted only to your school's academic system. StarSchedule neither collects nor stores it.
What if courses are missing or extra after import?
First compare against your academic system, then add or remove courses by hand. If it's a system support issue, send us your school name and a timetable screenshot.
